Dunkin' Donuts

I am so mad right now because I am craving a good donut! and I hate Krispy Kreme donuts because they're so greasy, and the only truly good donut is from Dunkin' Donuts even though they're a chain. But there is no Dunkin' Donuts in the state of California! that's terrible.

Here's a video of this guy who participated in the Dunkin's Next Donut contest and won it. I've created and entered three donuts so far.

I included a picture of his donut. It's just a glazed sour cream donut with chopped Heath bar on top. I created one with chocolate dough and rasberry sugar coating, one with maple icing and bavarian creme and mini chocolate chips, and one more I don't remember. They all sound better than that. In case any of you want to participate in the contest yourself, it's just at dunkindonuts.com/donut

Sesame Street

Today I was watching Sesame Street because I still think it is awesome. It changed so much! They took out Snuffleuffagus, and now there's Abby Kadabby, and so now there's Abby's Flying Fairy School, and they took out the count and replaced him with Murray, and now there's this thing called Murray Had a Little Lamb and his little lamb speaks Spanish and they go take classes like tap dance and that kind of things, and Rosita isn't there anymore, and there's no Oscar the grouch and it's so much worse! it was better with Snuffleuffagus and The Count and Rosita!

Kanye West's Terrible Moments!

So, I did a little research on Kanye West, because of his terrible moment at the VMA'S and found this article about how he had burst up on stage much more than once! I did copy this... but still.

West has had several controversies throughout his career. On September 2, 2005, during a benefit concert for Hurricane Katrina relief on NBC, A Concert for Hurricane Relief, West was a featured speaker. Controversy arose when West was presenting, as he deviated from the prepared script. Actor Mike Myers, with whom West was paired to present, spoke next and continued to read the script. Once it was West's turn to speak again, he said "George Bush doesn't care about black people." At this point, telethon producer Rick Kaplan cut off the microphone and then cut away to Chris Tucker, who was unaware of the cut for a few seconds. Still, West's comment reached much of the United States.
In January 2006, West again sparked controversy when he appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone in the image of Jesus wearing a crown of thorns.
Later in 2006, West had his first of a number of incidents involving music award events. After the 2006 Grammy nominations were released, West said he would "really have a problem" if he did not win the Album of the Year, saying, "I don't care what I do, I don't care how much I stunt — you can never take away from the amount of work I put into it. I don't want to hear all of that politically correct stuff." On November 2, 2006, when his "Touch the Sky" failed to win Best Video at the MTV Europe Music Awards, West went onto the stage as the award was being presented to Justice and Simian for "We Are Your Friends" and argued that he should have won the award instead. Hundreds of news outlets worldwide criticized the outburst. On November 7, 2006, West apologized for this outburst publicly during his performance as support act for U2 for their Vertigo concert in Brisbane, Australia. He later spoofed the incident in the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. On September 9, 2007, West suggested that his race had to do with his being overlooked for opening the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in favor of Britney Spears; he claimed, "Maybe my skin’s not right." West was performing at the event; that night, he lost all 5 awards that he was nominated for, including Best Male Artist and Video of the Year. After the show, he was visibly upset that he had lost at the VMAs two years in a row, stating that he would not come back to MTV ever again. He also appeared on several radio stations saying that when he made the song "Stronger" that it was his dream to open the VMAs with it. He has also stated that Spears hasn't had a hit in a long period of time and that MTV exploited her for ratings.
On September 13, 2009, during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards while Taylor Swift was accepting her award for Best Female Video, West went on stage and grabbed the microphone to proclaim that Beyoncé's video for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", nominated for the same award, was "one of the best videos of all time". He was subsequently removed from the remainder of the show for his actions. When Beyoncé later won the award for Best Video of the Year for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", she called Swift up on stage so that she could finish her acceptance speech. West was criticized by various celebrities for the outburst, and by U.S. President Barack Obama, who called West a "jackass" in an "off the record" comment. In addition, West's VMA disruption originated a large amount of Internet photo meme with blogs, forums and tweets with the "Let you finish" photo-jokes. He posted two apologies for the outburst on his blog, one the night of the incident and the other the same day he appeared on The Jay Leno Show, on September 14, 2009, where he apologized again. After Swift appeared on The View two days after the outburst, partly to discuss the matter, West called her to apologize personally. Swift said she accepted his apology.

Isn't that amazing!

Oprah

Isobel wrote a post on Lady Gaga, so I'm doing one on Oprah. I got this information from academyofachievement.org but I wrote the actual text myself.

Oprah Winfrey as born in Kosciusko, Mississipi until she turned six. It was at this farm that she "began her broadcasting career" by learning to read and perform recitations. She learned to do this at the age of three. When she was six, she moved to Milaukee to live with her mother. At the age of thirteen, she ran away after suffering abuse and molestation. She was then sent to a juvenile detention home, but they had no room for her so she was sent back to her mother. Her mother then decided that there had to be something to do with her daughter, so she sent Oprah to live with her very strict father. Vernon Winfrey immediately gave his daughter a midnight curfew. He also required her to read a book and write a report every week. Oprah later said about this time, "As strict as he as, he had some concerns about me making the best of my life, and would not accept anything less than hat he thought was my best."

Her broadcasting career started at the age of seventeen. She was hired by WVOL radio in Nashville as an anchor. She then majored in Speech Communications and Performing Arts at Tennessee State University.

IN 1976 she became co-anchor for WJZ-TV news in Baltimore. Then, two years later, she discovered her talent for talk show hosting when she became the co-host of the same channel's, "People Are Talking," but continued to work as an anchor and news reporter.

Much later, in 1984, Oprah moved to Chicago to host WLS-TV's "AM Chicago," which as a local talk show. In less than one year after her first appearance, "AM Chicago"became the most popular show in the city. Because of this, they expanded the show to one hour, and then in 1985, they even renamed it "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Seen nationally since September 1986, "The Oprah Winfrey Show" became the number one talk show in national syndication in less than a year. In 1987, "The Oprah Winfrey Show" got three Daytime Emmy Awards in the categories of Outstanding Host, Outstanding Talk/Service Program and Outstanding Direction. In 1988, "The Oprah Winfrey Show got it's second consecutive Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Talk/Service Program, and later Oprah herself got the Internation Radio and Television Society's "Broadcaster of the Year" Award. She was the youngest person and only the fifth woman to ever receive the honor in IRT's 25-year history.

Before everyone began to love Oprah Winfrey the talk show host, she captured the nation's attention with her poignant portrayal of Sofia in Steven Spielberg's 1985 adaptation of Alice Walker's The Color Purple. Her performance got her nominations for an Oscar and Golden Globe Award as best supporting actress. Another movie the critics loved her in was Native Son, a movie based on a book by Richard Wright.

Oprah's love of acting is what inspired her to form HARPO, her production company. She did so in 1986. Nowadays, HARPO is an amazing force in film and television production. HARPO is over all in charge of producing The Oprah Winfrey Show, which makes her the first woman ever to own and produce her own talk show. The year after HARPO became in charge of Oprah, it made it's first television miniseries, The Women of Brewster Place, where Oprah starred and worked as Executive Producer. It was followed by the TV movies There Are No Children Here (1993,) and Before Women Had Wings (1997). She appeared in and produced both. Then, a year after Before Women Had Wings was made, she starred in Beloved, a movie based on a book written by Toni Morrison.

In 1991, Oprah was motivated by her memories of child abuse to initiate a campaign to establish a national database of convicted child abusers, so she did. She testified before a US Senate Judicary Committee on behalf of a National Child Protection Act. President Clinton signed the "Oprah Bill" into law in 1993.

Oprah Winfrey was named one of the 100 Most Influential People of the 20th Century by Time magazine. In 1998 she recieved a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Oprah Book Club selections became instant bestsellers, and in 1999 she received the National Book Foundation's 50th anniversary gold medal for her service to books and authors.

In 2003, Forbes Magazine declared Oprah Winfrey to be the very first African-American woman to have over a billion dollars.

Monologue Song (La La La)

So. On a SNL or Saturday Night Live Taylor Swift sang a hilarious song called Monologue Song (La La La)! She sang about three guys; Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, and Kanye West. If you don't know the stories about them, then we are about to tell you!

Joe Jonas
Joe Jonas is a JONAS BRO as you all must know!
He part of a band working for Disney Channel.
JONAS has a TV show, band and fame career.
Joe has dated many people and one of them
happens to be Taylor Swift. They were a great couple,
but one day he called he up and broke up with her...
ON THE PHONE! The whole world ended up knowing,
but Taylor got her short and sweet REVENGE, ON LIVE YOUTUBE!

This is her revenge!

Taylor Lautner
There is not much to tell about him.
He plays the werewolf in Twilight,
and everyone thinks he is extremely hot
(not including me, I think he is weird!)
Lately, there has been rumors of Taylor and Taylor...
DATING!
It all started when a photo got out of them kissing,
and she started getting interviews!
Here it is!

Kanye West
He is now Americas most loathed man!
Kanye West is a singer, everyone used to love him,
until he did the thing only in nightmares,
the most terrible thing in history!
He bursted up at the VMA'S
while Taylor Swift was getting
her best video award!
He said this:
"I don't mean to be rude, but Beyonce had the best video in HISTORY!"
He took up her speech time,
and ruined the ceremony !
Here is the video:

LADY GAGA!

You might not know this but I am obsessed with LADY GAGA! I decided to do a little research on her!

P.S I read a couple articles on her, but did not copy them, I wrote this all myself!

Biography
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta ( better known as Lady Gaga) was born in Yonkers, New York on March 28, 1986 and is 23 years old. She was signed by Def Jam Records at the age of 19, and began performing in New York City's Lower East Side. She was also working (in that same period of time) at Interscope Records. Akon after hearing her sing convinced Jimmy lovine to sign a joint deal with Akon's Kon Live Distribution.

Fame Success
Her well known album The Fame, was released in August 2008, it had received mostly positive reviews , it topped the music list in 4 countries. The 2 famous songs on The Fame, "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" have now become international number-one-hits, because of this she was inspired to go on her first headline tour , The Fame Ball Tour! The Fame peaked at number one in Austria, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Ireland, and at number four in Australia and the United States

Inspiration
Gaga is inspired by many glam rockers and pop singers such as David Bowie, Queen, Madonna and Michael Jackson. She is also inspired by fashion, which she says is a essential to her performance and songwriting!

Schools

At age 11 she was set to join Juilliard School in Manhattan, but instead attended Convent of the Sacred Heart, a private Roman Catholic school. Playing piano by ear from the age of 4, she went on to write her first piano ballad at 13 and began performing at open mike nights by age 14. At age 17, she gained early admission to the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. There, she studied music and improved her songwriting skills by composing essays and analytical papers focusing on topics such as art, religion and socio-political order. She later withdrew from the school to focus on her musical career.

Working with Other Stars

Lady Gaga joined Lady Starlight who helped her create her onstage outfits. The pair played gigs in downtown club areas. They were called "Lady Gaga and Starlight Revue". They were then invited to perform at music festival Lollapalooza. Gaga focused on avant-garde, electronic dance, and then pop melodies and vintage glam rock. She began writing for more artists including Akon, Fergie, Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and New Kids on the Block. She started working on a new collection with new material such as electro-glam, David Bowie-esque, and Queen-inspired songs, but she wanted to mix her retro dance beats with urban melodies, a pop chorus and still retain a rock and roll edge. Akon worked with her along the way and their first song was "Boys Boys Boys"

Present Day

By 2008, Gaga had relocated to Los Angeles, working closely with her record label to finalize her debut album The Fame. Gaga said that she combined a lot of different genres on the album, "from Def Leppard drums and handclaps to metal drums on urban tracks." She began to work with with a collective called the Haus of Gaga who helped her with her clothing, sets and basically onstage performance and ego. The Fame's first single "Just Dance" topped six countries charts and won a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Te second single "Poker Face" reached number one in almost 20 COUNTRIES! Gaga was nominated for 9 awards at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards including Video of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video for "Poker Face" and Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Special Effects, Best Cinematography and Best Art Direction for "Paparazzi. Gaga won "Best New Artist" and her song Paparazzi won "Best Art Direction" and "Best Special Effects"

Where she got her name
Rob Fusari nicknamed her Gaga after the Queen song "Radio Ga Ga"

PINKY AND THE BRAIN!!!

So what are we going to do tonight, Brain?
Same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world!
They're Pinky and the brain, YES Pinky and the Brain,
One is a genius, the other's insane! They're Pinky and the brain, yes Pinky and the Brain!
They're laboratory mice, they're genes have been spiced!
They're Pinky, they're Pinky and the brain, brain, brain, brain, brain, brain, brain, brain, brain!
Before each night is done, they're plan will be unfurled by the dawning of the sun! They'll take over the world! They're Pinky and the brain, YES Pinky and the Brain! The twilight campaign, is easy to explain! To prove they're mouse-y worth, they'll dominate the earth! They're Pinky, they're Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, NARF!!!

Prologue

This a PROLOGUE to the story I'm writing!

Her golden hair struck back by the wind.
Her skin as white as snow and as soft as honey.
Her voice as a angels song.
Her eyes as blue as the ocean.
Her smile as bright as the suns greatest shine.
Her lips as red as rose.
I'm not saying I'm in love,
but she is my savior.

It is very short but I would put it in a bigger font.

The Olympics 2016

Wazzup!

I decided to do some research on the Olympics 2016! I am sure you all know what happened and who won, but it is a interesting topic... so ya. I did another research project blog post awhile ago, if you wanna look at it search Veggie Monster! on the search blog tool.

Here is a article I found with the main story:

Despite four years, millions of dollars in planning and a last-ditch pitch from President Obama, the Chicago 2016 Olympic bid ultimately fell short.

The City of Chicago was eliminated in the first round of voting, before any host city was selected. Chicago received only 18 first-round votes. Madrid was the leader after Round 1 with 28, followed by Rio de Janeiro with 26. In the final round, Rio beat Madrid 66-32.

"I was shocked, I was disappointed, I couldn't believe it," Mayor Daley conceded to CBS 2 Chief Correspondent Jay Levine and other reporters after the decision.

Still, the mayor praised Chicago's effort, saying, "We had a wonderful team … All of us worked together."

Daley said he doesn't envision making a similar effort to land the 2020 Olympics, because the 2016 winner is in the same hemisphere as Chicago, which would dampen his city's chances.

An expert called it the biggest shock in International Olympic Committee history, and it drew immediate questions about the worth of President Obama's influence.

"One of the most valuable things about sports is that you can play a great game and still lose,'' he said after returning to the White House Friday afternoon. The president congratulated Rio for their victory.

A disappointed U.S. Olympic Committee President Larry Probst left the venue and refused to comment.

Supporters gathered in Chicago were equally shocked. Many left the rally in Daley Plaza tears.

Tokyo was eliminated in the second round.

Even the president's star billing wasn't enough to put Chicago over the top in what some experts said was the tightest race for the Games in its history.

The rest of the article. CLICK ME!

Here is a article about the win:

Nearly 50,000 people erupted in celebration when Rio de Janeiro was announced host of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games Friday, jumping and cheering in a Carnival-like party on Copacabana beach, reports The Associated Press.
When International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge said the words "Rio de Janeiro" to announce the winner of the 2016 Games, a huge roar was heard and the Cariocas, as Rio citizens are known, raised their arms to commemorate on Copacabana, frantically waving flags and hugging each other.

The Associated Press reports the party was expected to go on well into the night, and officials said the crowd would easily surpass 100,000 people.

There was also dancing to the samba as confetti was launched into the air in front of a massive stage set up for the victory celebration. A banner half the size of a soccer field - where Rio's logo, an image of the Christ the Redeemer statue and the words "Rio Loves You" - was displayed.

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge congratulated Rio on its election and praised the high quality of the bid. He said, "Rio de Janeiro presented the IOC with a very strong technical bid built upon a vision of the Games being a celebration of the athletes and sport, as well as providing the opportunity for the city, region and country to deliver their broader long-term aspirations for the future".

United States Olympic Committee (USOC) Chairman Larry Probst and Acting CEO Stephanie Streeter issued a statement congratulating Rio saying they look forward to bringing "our athletes and delegation to Brazil in 2016".

In a statement Tokyo 2016 also congratulated Rio's bid committee. Governor Ishihara said, "I would like to wish Rio de Janeiro every success for the 2016 Games and congratulate the bid team after running a fine campaign". He added, "each city's bid was exceptional, but I believe that Rio will stage an excellent Games".

Rio's success was also congratulated by the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Bid Committee. David Peterson, Chair of Toronto 2015 said, "Rio de Janeiro will present athletes and the world with an unforgettable experience in 2016".

This is a extremely short article but good:

It's seven years away but Olympic fever started early for Chicagoans, as the city threw its hat in the ring to host the 2016 Summer games. Despite lobbying from Chicago notables like the Obamas and Oprah Winfrey, hopes were dashed when the Windy City didn't make it past the first-round eliminations. Brazil will be celebrating tonight — Rio de Janeiro has been picked as the host city, a first ever for South America.

My toe!!!!!!!!

Today I stubbed my toe worse then I ever have in my life. I was sitting down to eat, I slid my chair over to the side, then BAM it hit my toe. I ran up the stairs screaming my head off. I calmed down and then came back to eat, but when after an hour the pain had not left at all, I googled "stubbed toe treatment." I ended up on an article by a doctor.
As it turns out, if a stubbed toe is not treated correctly it can lead to a serious injury. I read it and tried to follow the instructions as well as I could. Basically the main thing it said was you need to not put pressure on it, keep it elevated at least six inches, Don't bandage it, and keep it away from anything hot.

You need to be sure to treat it correctly, because if not treated quickly, you might find in a couple years you're diagnosed with severe Arthritis, and the cause was you kicked the bedpost five years ago.

If you stub your toe you may have not just "stubbed your toe". It would feel exactly the same if you broke a bone in your foot or did something to your muscles. I don't think that happened to me, but it still was pretty bad. it swelled up really quickly and the toe nail looked ready to fall off. I suggest you read the article at this link.

Maru Maru Maru!

As all you should know by now, Maru the famous feline youtube star with a blog who lives in Japan is awesome. He has some extraordinary news...

wait for it...

HE HAS A BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maru the cat's owner wrote a book called "I Am Maru." It got published very recently by the Tokimeki Japanese publishing corp. Since it was published so recently, it might be a while until it get's to your local book store. It'll probably be able to find easier if you're place has a Japan Town, which isn't that common. Basically it's not like a Harry Potter book or something that you can effortlessly find at any old book store or library. You might also want to know that Since Maru has a lot of youtube videos, he has a "Best Fifteen" dvd that could be awesome. But if you're like me and you've seen every single one at least a dozen times now, that's not as big of an attraction.

Guest Blogger: Suzanne!

Finally the moment is here! We have waited practically two months (if I remember correctly) and the winner is Suzanne!

So, I'm visiting my dear friends in Chicago for a few days. Chicago is a big beautiful city in the midwest on Lake Michigan. There is so much to do here. Yesterday, we went to the Art Institute, and took a river boat cruise. It's amazing how much of this city is near the Chicago river. You wouldn't want to swim in the river though! It's too dirty, but it's still pretty to look at. If you want to go swimming you can go swim in the lake! Chicago is also a great place for shopping. There are tons of great shops, and wonderful restaurants too. It's not a good place for a diet! So, since there is so much to do in Chicago, I thought it would be fun to have a poll about the best things to do in Chicago.

That is Suzanne's post, she also has a poll but no video or photo, her poll can be found to the left of the post. We would also like to appreciate the other two people who commented to be guest blogger, Rachael94 and Sheridan. We thought all their polls were great so we're posting them all!

Troodon!!!!!

The Troodon is my favorite dinosaur. He's really cute and small, for a dinosaur. He was only 3 meters long, (6.6 ft.) and 1 meter (3.3 ft.) tall. He's a lot like a bird with a giant pointy tail.

Iris

I forgot to say!

Okay about my post about the guest blogger for a day thing, (if you haven't read it scroll down and read it please,) I forgot to mention a bit about the rules. basically all the rules from Isobel's idea apply. such as please post your video or photo in HTML and if you don't know what that is don't bother to post a video or photo. For my post I would like to add that this rule applies, unless it is a google image, youtube video, or twitter pic, in which case please just show us a link in the comment and I'll get it on the blog.

please don't use the embedding code to put the pic directly into the comment, for several reasons,

1. because that way it isn't exactly promoting following, because instead of people reading the post to see the video and stuff, they'll just look at the comment of the video and pay no attention to the post, in my figuring.

2. it makes it altogether harder for us post it on the blog, because we have to figure out where the video is and therefore how to get it onto the blog, because at least I'm not that clever, so, yeah.

3. Just don't do it!

Okay, if you have read the post about guest blogger for a day, you probably remember the deadline is September 1, well I figure
that by then everyone will have forgotten, so I'm going to change the date. and also, Isobel, if they're is a problem with this date then go ahead onto editing posts and change it to something better!
I think the date should be July 30th, because that way we will hopefully all remember whatever on earth I'm talking about!

And also, I would like to say that also as in Isobel's post, we would like everybody to participate.

The winners of our latest contest!

The winners of the nicest followers of the month-ish is...

Madeleine and Chloe!!!
And Rachael94!!!

Congratulations!!! You two have been picked for the nicest followers o the month-ish!!! Remember to comment on this post about your post and poll!!!

Enjoy

Isobel

Idea to promote following #2!!!

So, hi.
It's Isobel!
I'm here to tell you about our 2nd idea to promote following!!!
Here it is!

1. Every month were gonna pick three followers that have supported us through comments, polls and other things.

2. Those three followers will be able to comment on the post that announces the three followers which we picked, and get the chance to pick the next poll, and write a post about anything on our blog.

3. The best idea from those three followers will win and get there ideas posted on our blog!!!!

4. And the best thing is you don't have to worry about getting your ideas on our blog, 'cause we get to do all the hard bits!!!

Rules, Regulations and things we will and won't allow!

#1 If your gonna post a video, then post it in HTML, if you don't know what HTML is then don't put a video on.

#2 You can post youtube videos but post the embedding code.

#3 Don't put anything inappropriate for ages 6 and under.

#4 Don't cheat.

#5 You can put pictures on, but put them also in HTML. Or you can tell us what picture you want and have us look it up on the web.

#6 If you post a poll then make sure to include the question and answers.

More info

In the last 5 days of the month we will announce the winners.

We will post the post on Either the last day of the month or the first day of the new month.

Make sure to have your answers in before the 28th of the month.

Sometimes we will only have one or 2 winners!!!

If you want to win make sure to comment with your name and a lot.

Idea to promote following, guest blogger!

Hello dudes! You have probably read on the left-hand side of this post that we have an idea to promote following. Well, I was lying. We have 3 ideas! Isobel will be doing 2 that she made up and I will be doing 1 that I made up. We hope that we get more followers from these ideas! Isobel will (or may have already,) explained to you her ideas, anyway, here's mine!

We are going to have a guest blogger for a day!

Here's what the guest blogger will get to do;

1. come up with a post that you will get to write,

2. come up with a poll,

3. show a link to a website video or photo, (if it's like a youtube video or something we can actually get it on the site, not link or anything,)

4. If you come up with something reasonable that was not mentioned here, you might be able to do it as well.

Here is how you will do it;

1. write in a comment the exact wording of the post you would want to do, include the options and title for a poll you would want to do, the link to whatever you would want to show, (if anything,) an extra idea for something you might want to do as guest blogger if you have one, and last but not least, why you want to be the guest blogger.

2. if you get chosen to be guest blogger, you'll know because it will say so in a post.

3. We'll worry about the rest, like putting it on the site and stuff, and you can just sit back and relax while eating pie or something.

Rules!

1. basically there is just one rule. Everything you do on the blog has to be absolutely original!!!!! No copying things you saw on other websites, or ideas other people commented on or really anything. You have to come up with it yourself, no exceptions.

Have fun!

And also, September 1 is the dead line for this. you can take however long you want to write the comment with your ideas, but the blogger for the day is going to be chosen on September 1. the stuff will be published on September 2. I chose the deadline randomly.

Circus camp

So I was at Circus Camp for the last week (It's over it ended today!) and it is so cool!

You do all the circus stuff; trapeze, rope, tissue, bird cage, flips, globe walking, stilts, all that stuff, but then you also do art projects. then at the end of the week you do a show, and there is always a theme. This week it was zombies, and it was so cool! there are always four acts, tumbling, aerial, juggling, and comedy. you have to pass a test of strength to get into aerial, though, which covers trapeze, rope, bird cage, and tissue. I got into it last year when I went to circus camp, but my parents forgot to write it on the calendar that I was going to circus camp that week so I missed the testing day, so I had no chance whatsoever of getting in, because I wasn't able to take the test to get in! So I got into comedy and it worked out. My favorite part was the opening, where we walked up the stairs and came out with a giant parachute, then we got under it and there were other people outside of it doing like cartwheels and stuff and they got sucked in, then we were all screaming and the parachute got pulled off of us and we were lying down, zombies. Then we walked around and it looked like we were going around in random directions, but actually by the time the music started we were in straight lines down the room. Then we danced a short bit of the song "Thriller" by Micheal Jackson, then we walked of the stage and started the show.

This week there was another group, Advanced Tumbling, so in order to make exactly 4 groups we put together comedy and juggling. (Juggling wasn't just juggling balls, it covered all objects, diablo, stilts, etc. etc.)

The great thing about circus camp is that for an entire hour every day you can go to any 2 stations, the stations are Art, Aerial, Fast Track, (Fast Track is a really long skinny trampoline specifically used for tumbling,) and juggling. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, I did first Art and then Aerial. But on Friday They didn't have art, because in the art room they were doing make-up for the show. I tried to go on the globe, but I chickened out. Same thing with the stilts. Oh and there was a potluck and the food was so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And when you get like 13 or older and you're too old to be in the camp, if you're really strong and good with kids you can be one of the counselors. Like the entire second half of the day is run by teenagers, and like one adult because if everyone in the camp were under 18 it would just go insane. remember last year in the same week as me there was this 12 year old girl, and now one year later she's one of the counselors.

Circus camp is awesome!

Billy Mays Died!!!

Enough about Michael Jackson!!! It's Billy Mays time! Billy Mays is dead. It is very very sad. I mean, he was a good man. Even though, I am half death from his ads, I am disappointed in his death. He died from heart disease on June 28th, 2009 Sunday morning. In tribute I will show you two of his ads.

Micheal Jackson-Thriller-filipino prisoners dance

Okay, so you know how Micheal Jackson died, in the Philippenes there's this prison, and they dance to the song "Thriller" by him! And OMG they are really good. I know part of that dance, but only a small portion. They do it really well!

Here's the vid!

There are 1,500 prisoners there.

Tribute to Micheal Jackson

Micheal Jackson died today. pretty much everyone in San Francisco knew within at least half an hour of it happening. He just seems emortal, you know? He lived a pretty sad life. His parents abused him, he was a gigantic star at age five, he was sort of "weird" (but in a good way,) and yeah.

Micheal Jackson was home when he got a heart attack today. 911 was dialed and they came, and found him not breathing. they took him to the hospital and said he was in a coma, but it was later confirmed that he had passed away.

I'm just stating the facts that I assume you already know.

Once I figure it out I will post pics of Micheal Jackson in memory of him.

My dad's assistant's dog

Okay so my dad works at a company that shall remain unnamed. It's a website, and yeah. He started out as an assistant to this dude, than he managed to fire his own boss and obtain his boss's job. So now he is officially called "Chief of science and development" or something like that. He has like five assistants, I call them "peons" from this computer game that I used to play. One of his assistants has this really awesome dog that can do a lot of tricks like when you say bedtime the dog will lie down and pretend to yawn. Or when you make your hand look like a gun and say "pow!" The dog will pretend to be dead. He's awesome dog and here's a pic of him.
