Homework Writing Assignment

Hi. I wanted to show you this story I wrote for homework. I want your opinion on it. I do not particularly like it but I am wondering if you would! Here it is:

Once upon a time there lived a handsome but mean and spoiled and selfish prince, who was soon to be married off to a beautiful yet unknown princess called Nancy. He lived in a fine castle on the edge of a cliff by a forest. One day, he went out hunting with his friends in the forest. He saw an elk, and tried sneaking up to it, though, the elk saw him and ran. He chased after it, but soon got lost! After awhile, it got dark and out of the mist appeared an old woman. She looked sad and broken, but the prince felt nothing, HE was the one people should se feeling bad for! The old woman coughed and asked him for a cracker (which he had many of) but he refused and sent her off. She walked deep into the forest and started chanting and practiced transforming a rock. Before long the prince had transformed into a cat! Luckily he could still talk and found his friends to explain everything. They took the cat price to the palace where the princess was. Once the cat saw the beautiful princess he knew that, in this case, the rest of his life would be torture, he loved her! The princess was horrible to him because she hated cats. The prince slowly began to realize what it was like to be treated badly, and swore to be nice to everyone for the rest of his life. So the witch came and turned him back into a human.
He realized that he didn’t want to marry someone mean no matter how beautiful they were.
He lived happily ever after with the one he truly loved.

The End.

Please comment what you think about this story!

  1. I really enjoyed this story. i'd like to be a cat for a few days myself... but I'd prefer it to be in a home where cats are valued.
