Okay so my dad's boss is so obsessed with tea, he went all the way to China just to go see a tea farm thing. He also got a tattoo of the inventor of tea. It is just so weird! Here is a pic of his tattoo;

PINKY AND THE BRAIN!!!

So what are we going to do tonight, Brain?
Same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world!
They're Pinky and the brain, YES Pinky and the Brain,
One is a genius, the other's insane! They're Pinky and the brain, yes Pinky and the Brain!
They're laboratory mice, they're genes have been spiced!
They're Pinky, they're Pinky and the brain, brain, brain, brain, brain, brain, brain, brain, brain!
Before each night is done, they're plan will be unfurled by the dawning of the sun! They'll take over the world! They're Pinky and the brain, YES Pinky and the Brain! The twilight campaign, is easy to explain! To prove they're mouse-y worth, they'll dominate the earth! They're Pinky, they're Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, NARF!!!

I love it!

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry,

Okay I don't really have an excuse because I haven't been posting a lot, but now I'm in Fourth grade, but I still get out at 3:15 and YES I do get more homework but I get it weekly and I just do it on the weekends. I guess my only excuse is that I'm going through this phase where I check my e-mail at least three times a day. I hope I'll be able to post more often!

Prologue

This a PROLOGUE to the story I'm writing!

Her golden hair struck back by the wind.
Her skin as white as snow and as soft as honey.
Her voice as a angels song.
Her eyes as blue as the ocean.
Her smile as bright as the suns greatest shine.
Her lips as red as rose.
I'm not saying I'm in love,
but she is my savior.

It is very short but I would put it in a bigger font.

The Olympics 2016

Wazzup!

I decided to do some research on the Olympics 2016! I am sure you all know what happened and who won, but it is a interesting topic... so ya. I did another research project blog post awhile ago, if you wanna look at it search Veggie Monster! on the search blog tool.

Here is a article I found with the main story:

Despite four years, millions of dollars in planning and a last-ditch pitch from President Obama, the Chicago 2016 Olympic bid ultimately fell short.

The City of Chicago was eliminated in the first round of voting, before any host city was selected. Chicago received only 18 first-round votes. Madrid was the leader after Round 1 with 28, followed by Rio de Janeiro with 26. In the final round, Rio beat Madrid 66-32.

"I was shocked, I was disappointed, I couldn't believe it," Mayor Daley conceded to CBS 2 Chief Correspondent Jay Levine and other reporters after the decision.

Still, the mayor praised Chicago's effort, saying, "We had a wonderful team … All of us worked together."

Daley said he doesn't envision making a similar effort to land the 2020 Olympics, because the 2016 winner is in the same hemisphere as Chicago, which would dampen his city's chances.

An expert called it the biggest shock in International Olympic Committee history, and it drew immediate questions about the worth of President Obama's influence.

"One of the most valuable things about sports is that you can play a great game and still lose,'' he said after returning to the White House Friday afternoon. The president congratulated Rio for their victory.

A disappointed U.S. Olympic Committee President Larry Probst left the venue and refused to comment.

Supporters gathered in Chicago were equally shocked. Many left the rally in Daley Plaza tears.

Tokyo was eliminated in the second round.

Even the president's star billing wasn't enough to put Chicago over the top in what some experts said was the tightest race for the Games in its history.

Here is a article about the win:

Nearly 50,000 people erupted in celebration when Rio de Janeiro was announced host of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games Friday, jumping and cheering in a Carnival-like party on Copacabana beach, reports The Associated Press.
When International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge said the words "Rio de Janeiro" to announce the winner of the 2016 Games, a huge roar was heard and the Cariocas, as Rio citizens are known, raised their arms to commemorate on Copacabana, frantically waving flags and hugging each other.

The Associated Press reports the party was expected to go on well into the night, and officials said the crowd would easily surpass 100,000 people.

There was also dancing to the samba as confetti was launched into the air in front of a massive stage set up for the victory celebration. A banner half the size of a soccer field - where Rio's logo, an image of the Christ the Redeemer statue and the words "Rio Loves You" - was displayed.

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge congratulated Rio on its election and praised the high quality of the bid. He said, "Rio de Janeiro presented the IOC with a very strong technical bid built upon a vision of the Games being a celebration of the athletes and sport, as well as providing the opportunity for the city, region and country to deliver their broader long-term aspirations for the future".

United States Olympic Committee (USOC) Chairman Larry Probst and Acting CEO Stephanie Streeter issued a statement congratulating Rio saying they look forward to bringing "our athletes and delegation to Brazil in 2016".

In a statement Tokyo 2016 also congratulated Rio's bid committee. Governor Ishihara said, "I would like to wish Rio de Janeiro every success for the 2016 Games and congratulate the bid team after running a fine campaign". He added, "each city's bid was exceptional, but I believe that Rio will stage an excellent Games".

Rio's success was also congratulated by the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Bid Committee. David Peterson, Chair of Toronto 2015 said, "Rio de Janeiro will present athletes and the world with an unforgettable experience in 2016".

This is a extremely short article but good:

It's seven years away but Olympic fever started early for Chicagoans, as the city threw its hat in the ring to host the 2016 Summer games. Despite lobbying from Chicago notables like the Obamas and Oprah Winfrey, hopes were dashed when the Windy City didn't make it past the first-round eliminations. Brazil will be celebrating tonight — Rio de Janeiro has been picked as the host city, a first ever for South America.
